I recently received the Kraft Geek Inspire easel stand in the mail to try out and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm an oil painter and also a diy type. I usually build my own easels and tables because I have a hard time finding things that are built to my needs. The Kraft Geek Easel is very well made and very sturdy. It arrived very well packaged with easy instructions which I put to the side and ignored because that's how I am. Never the less it's extremely easy to figure out without even reading the instructions.

The legs extend out by a twisting motion of the feet and lock back into place with another simple twist so you can adjust to the height that you need. There are little easel holders that fold in and out of the easel as well to hold the canvas which makes for a clean smooth storage position when you put the easel away or travel with it.

I put the easel to the test immediately in the studio when I got it by starting this 20" square painting. The easel is very sturdy and light weight. It weighs a little under 4 pounds. The legs don't slip and the easel holders held the canvas nicely. What I really liked is that the holders are hooked at the end to hold the canvas in or on the edge which is good for painting the edges of the canvas.

It worked extremely well in the studio so the next day I took it out to try plein air painting with it. It did extremely well in the field also. The adjustable legs make it easy to keep the painting level on an uneven surface. The only thing it lacks is some sort of palette and box system that I could hook onto the legs so my paints and brushes could be right in front the painting at the easel. I actually brought my plein air box with me and set it up to the side on another easel so I could have every thing within reach. If Kraft Geek comes up with a palette that hooks to this easel I'll order it immediately.

This Kraft Geek easel also has a 1/4" screw mount in the top for adding a light or camera in case you do videos of your art or go live on tik tok like I do. Haven't tried this feature out because I don't have the right mounting equipment for my phone yet but I will in the very near future.

I have to leave you with one more photo. No I didn't intend on getting my foot in this photo, I just wanted to show you the compact and sleek design of the Kraft Geek Inspire easel when it's all folded up and ready for travel. Can't get any neater and compact than this.

If you'd like to to order this easel just click this link. I am now an affiliate with Kraft Geek so I do get a commission if you order through this link.

Thank you all and PAINE IS OUT!!!
